That night, the lovely campsite near Moreno Glacier was deserted except for the three of us. Being a bit tired of dehydrated food, we elected to spend some serious dough at the nearby fancy hotel. We had a table next to the wall-sized windows overlooking the lake with mountains behind (similar to the view shown below) as the daylight faded. The restaurant was nearly deserted, the music soothed while the tasty food refreshed us and we passed around a small table-top telescope to closer inspect icebergs floating by. The most delectable chocolate cake topped with whipped cream was and appropriate finish to a delightful day.
