Moreno Glacier is 14 km long and 50-55km high, advancing 2 meters every day. A variety of walkways and balconies provide good vantage points.

The top of the glacier is white and looks like many small hills. At the end closest to us, large crevasses are predominate and the deeper they are, the deeper bule they become. Ice towards the bottom has been greatly compressed and is blue like blown glass. Stripes of dirt are plentiful in some areas, void in most.
