After a nice leisurely morning and breakfast, the sun's heat is intense as it shines in our faces while we make our way to a nearby glacier. Though large, it is small in comparison to the two massive glaciers we've recently visited. Small blocks of ice float unhurried in the lake and in due course crack, split into smaller and smaller pieces, and eventually melt away. Our cupped hands bring the cool glacier melt to our lips, refreshing us.
